Punk News: It was the 40th anniversary of the first broadcast of The Young Ones, the closest thing there's ever been to a punk sitcom. DIY punk festival on the 26th of November - be there or be square. Organizer Han(a) will be on the show next week. GOON, Lost To Life, and Sawn Off play the Hut on Saturday the 20th of November. Punks Listen still available to buy. Delilah Bon out of Hands Off Gretel has been interviewed in the UCD University Observer.

Other news: M(h)aol have announced the release of their forthcoming album, Attachment Styles. Issue 3 of PUNC the fanzine is available now in The Library Project in Temple Bar. Submissions are currently open for a bumper Christmas edition of PUNC the fanzine - art, articles, puzzles, crosswords, recipes and all sorts of things are being looked for.

Zine news: A new issue of City Rocker is available and a new issue of Dublin skate zine Goblin is out soon. A one-off photozine by Al Fartukh called We Are The Underground (full of pics from the Dance To The Underground queer punk night) is also available. The Dublin Union of Punks is organizing a Chrustmas punk swapmeet for the 18th of December.

Corrections and Clarifications: the band M.A.D are actually from Longford, not Athlone. They were also playing a gig on the 4th of November. The Punk Picnic was happening on the 29th of October. A DIY punk festival will be taking place on the 26th of November in the Boh's Bar in Phibsboro with a slate of very good Irish bands and a few British ones as well.
